PAL1000 Gold Assay System

Fast, High-Quality, LowCost, Onsite Gold Assays
With PAL1000. The PULVERISE AND LEACH (PAL) machine can simultaneously pulverize and leach a batch of 52 large (~1kg) samples enabling gold assays to be obtained within two hours of samples arriving at the laboratory.
Centrifuge
​
The low-speed centrifuge has been primarily designed as an accessory for the laboratory performing cyanide extractable gold analyses using our PAL1000 gold assay system, but it can also assist in reducing settling times for pulps generated utilising a bottle roller or tumbler. Settling times are no longer a problem. The centrifuge is designed to use low cost, disposable plastic sample cups.
Bottle Roller Machine

There are two versions of the bottle roller machine. One version was constructed to be flat packed for shipment by air. Each machine consists of 15 x 3m long rollers in three layers of 5. The rollers are rubber coated and each roller is chain driven. The machine has a capacity of around 250 x 4.5L jars. The air freight version capacity is slightly less. The machine can also accommodate 2L as well as 1L jars. The power requirement for the standard equipment is 415VAC, 50Hz, three-phase at1.5KW. Other power supplies may be accommodated upon request.
Tumbler
​
The Laboratory tumbler has been designed and built for simple and efficient operation. The tumbler is offered in configurations for either three-phase or single-phase power. Tumbling is often preferred to rolling bottle agitation for cyanide leaching because it is more active. This may allow for more efficient and faster leaching.
Assay Tabs
​
Assay Tabs have been formulated for fast cyanide leach gold assaying. Each Assay Tab contains the appropriate amount of sodium cyanide and LeachWell® to facilitate a 1-hour leach when used according to our instructions. The leach rate for gold is approximately 1 micron per minute! Large samples can now be assayed accurately and very quickly (same time frame as Aqua Regia). Poor reproducibility (scatter) when coarse gold is present is minimised - meaningful results can be consistently produced.
LeachWell
​
LeachWell® is a technical grade catalyst that has been formulated for intensive cyanidation of Knelson and other gold concentrates. Recoveries above 99.9 % within a few hours are common when using LeachWell®. Residues can, therefore, be safely discarded.
DTOX
​
DTOX is a wastewater treatment product that precipitates heavy metal ions and neutralises cyanide. DTOX reacts quickly with free and complex cyanides. The end products are ultimately released to the environment as carbonates and ammonia (can be beneficial to flora). Test work has shown that the reaction is rapid and much safer than hypochlorite.
